Tomorrow Movement
Tomorrow Movement is a grassroots organisation of young people fighting for a society with good jobs, great public services, and a safe climate for all via the campaign for a Climate Jobs Guarantee.

Over the past few years, I have assisted the movement with various visual communication projects.
Most recently; I conceptualised and created the above video Visioning Tomorrow. This stop-motion animation creates a portal into the Speculative Future of a Climate Jobs Guarantee that the movement is campaigning for.
This project was an amazing opportunity to combine my speculative design, visual communication, making, and project management skills. I’m proud of the result, which manages to effectively communicate a broad, complex, and transformative plan to a broad audience.
I was assisted with sound design and production, and we utilised voices from the movement. My thanks to all involved.
In the past, I managed the movement’s social media, created regular content, and participated in the communications team in a volunteer capacity.
This assisted with the growth of the movement and clear communication of our goals. As part of the Communications working group, I designed message frames, comms and visual assets for the movement weekly. I collaborated with others to produce consistent content and implemented processes to reduce team effort, while simultaneously improving the team’s quality and quantity of output.
My Role:
Social Media management and Instagram scheduling
Creation of branded assets across print and web
Content creation and conceptualisation
Process implementation to increase workflow efficiency
Definition of communication goals and strategy
Photography and Videography
I implemented insight data tracking and used the results to prioritize the types of content made for the most engagement. During my time in the team, I increased our user engagement and followers significantly, resulting in our first viral post in April 2022 which translated to traditional media coverage in multiple Australian Associated Press publications.

I’ve also created various documents, posters, flyers, and videos for the movement, using the movement’s established branding guidelines.
Finally, I’ve shared as much of my vis-comm expertise with the younger folks in the movement as possible. I truly believe in the work these young activists are doing for climate and social justice in Australia and have endeavored to help in any way appropriate.
